Welcome DJs, fans and freaks, as Blank & Jones would say, to another week of fantastic tracks! This is Ali with your weekly dose of vibe-a-licious groove.
Seriously though, we have quite a set of tracks for you this week coming out from theĀ Tech House side of things. There's quite a few favorites here including one on the Katze Gang Recordings label. This is a label that we don't know anything about other than it's been around producing releases since about 2014. This latest one is the Lel Dub Remix of a track called Africa Come On by Oziriz which has a great bass build up with a prominent dabbing of synths, horns and stabs before it introduces a layer of African drums. The melody is infectious. Well done Oziriz!
The next track I want to bring your attention to is one by Hannah Wants called Mad Love on Sleepless Recordings (not to be confused with Sleepless Records). This is a track you'll want to be sure to add to your collection. Hailing from Birmingham, Hannah is a champion of the new breed of bass-orientated, garage-influenced house of her hometown. Following a life-changing trip to Ibiza in 2010, Hannah worked hard to build a solid fanbase through her unique, energy-filled sets, journey-like mixtapes and successful forays into production, until in 2014 she was crowned both DJ Mag and Mixmag's Best Breakthrough DJ as well as Mixmag's Star of the Year. With her fame rapidly spreading, she now frequently tours the US and Europe as a headline act.
...and one more that I really like is the extended mix of Run by LA Riots produced in conjunction with Max Styler and Brun. This track is out on the Toolroom Trax label. Toolroom Trax existed many years ago when Toolroom first started and was home to several massive tracks that went on to achieve legendary status, from bands like Dubfire and Shlomi Aber. Now, it returns, offering more underground, club-focused tracks. You can also check out the Industry Discourse we did on Toolroom last year.
Here is the playlist.
That wraps it up for this week! I hope you enjoy all the fresh tunes, stay safe and wear your damn mask! We'll see you again next week for more great music. Four on Four (Production) ver. 4.23.0.1SoCal's best house, trance and EDM mixes by DJ AlexanderConnect with us on our other social channels
