DJ Alexander is proud to officially release his 40th mix on Four on Four!
With having taken over two months in the studio to make it, we thought November was going to come and go without with any new mixes. Instead DJ Alexander comes out with another incredible banging session with some of the best EDM tracks out there. This is a solid mix all around, kicking off with an assertive driving track by Thomas Feelman in collaboration with Teamworx that carries a distorted vocal sample and unsettling sounds while the rolling snare drums set the track energy. The mix then goes into that beautiful drop with Muvy introducing the emotion that is so common in many of DJ Alexander's mixes.
At that point this track is off to a great beginning for what is to be a full hour of extremely energetic EDM tracks. Edition 40 shows no shortage of stopping and continues to drop notable vocal tracks including one from Big Kid's Rafael Barreto remake of When Love Takes Over which carries Audrey Callahan's soothing, sensual and intense vocals. Omnia and Whiteout collaborate to set us up for that one just before with their release on the Armind label earlier this year, representing the much requested extended version of U with all it's melancholic melodies and beautiful voice. According to the words of Armind Recordings on that track
It's a wonderful piece of euphoria...'U' sees Omnia and Whiteout conjure up a tidal wave of sonic magic. With a sparkling breakdown, soft vocal sweeps and a big drop that begs for hands-in-the-air action, this track is 100% mainstage material.
DJ Alexander continues weaving hard driving rave-like tracks with Jetfire & 22 Bullets'Â extended mix of Placebo which was also selected for this month's Four on Four Essentials and the original mix of Acid, Rave, Sex from Henrix which like the raver's manifesto in this mix tells us clearly that DJ Alexander shows no signs of stopping and is on a mission to continue delivering incredible sets.
