This is a very special label as it spans the intersection of house, deep house and soulful house with a string of high profile remixes followed with artists as diverse as Sade, Kelis, Maxwell, Blue Six and Britney Spears. Naked Music began life as a production company back in 1992, when founders Dave Boonshoft and Jay Denes scored immediate underground success with releases on indies such as OM, Francois Kevorkian's Wave imprint, and UK's XL Records. Although some time has passed since Naked started releasing tracks, many of their releases are classics even today and their sound cannot be reproduced. Here are a couple of 'must have' tracks from the label but all releases are available here.
