- Record with phone using the 'Voice Recorder' app. If you need to cut the recording use the online tool at https://mp3cut.net/
- Process recordings through Platinum Notes. Tracks should be brought up to -11.5dB or -12.0dB noise level (e.g. louder)
Volumes
When adding voice overs, use Audacity to do auto-duck with the following settings:
- Duck Amount: -8dB
- Fade Down Length: 1 second
- Fade In Length: 3 seconds
Number of voice overs in the mix
One at the beginning, one in the middle and one toward the end (2 tracks from the end)
Positioning
The voice over should start on a beat that has no synths or vocals, just a bass beat. Throw it into a loop if you have to. Alternately it can be on a break down that has no vocals
Speed
The voice over track should be at +3.0% speed.
