Here we explore the labels that are most known for dishing out trance tracks with that melodic, emotional, deep and nurturing vibe.
Obviously, the definition of what progressive is or isn't is broad and subjective and can be tailored to fit a deejay's taste. We don't try to assume that the progressive style we're talking about here is the only one that exists.
There was also technical criteria which we used to decide which labels made the list:
- Majority of tracks range in BPMs of 128
- Label has at least 25 releases
Here is our list (so far):
- Alter Ego Progressive
- Suanda Progressive
- Progressive Dreams
- RNM Bundles (Raznitzan Music)
- Arva
- Ava Recordings
- Abora Progressive
- Addictive Sounds
- Afterglow
- Alter Ego Digital
- Anjunabeats
- Coldharbour Recordings
- FSOE
Exclusions
Here is the list of notable labels that we did not include in the list because their tracks were generally too hard hitting, frequently exhibited lots of energy (as in mainstage EDM), or didn't meet the technical criteria.
