We've applied this second set of fixes as part of version 4.19.
The most important aspect of this minor release is the fact that GoDaddy has requested us to immediately remove our static assets off their services. Consequently we migrated all those assets to storage buckets on AWS and are hosting them there. As part of that migration we included components for a content distribution network (CDN) and a web application firewall (WAF). These have the intended effect of making the site more secure and more performant.
Functional
- Removed the 'Help' post from the list of news articles
- Fixed the edit track page to pull up the relevant track so it could be edited
- Implemented a firewall on AWS to prevent unauthorized download of our tracks outside of the site
- Migrated all our music to AWS
- Migrated all our site images to AWS
- Implemented a CDN for performant caching of images and audio
- Fixed calculated URLs so that they would handle tracks with band names containing single quotes
- Fixed calculated URLs so that they would handle tracks with album names containing single quotes
- Added 2022 as a new year to our reference tables
- Fixed genre links on tracks pages so that they would pass sort parameters correctly
- Fixed several audio tracks that were not playing correctly
- Published an episode of Saturday Flashbacks
- Published an episode of Essentials
- Published an episode of Weekly Tracks
Cosmetic
- Fixed the cover image for release 4.19
- Fixed spaces in the desktop version of the music menu
- Changed the icons for link pages
- Changed the icon for records on pagination
- Fixed the cover for the Audio Max label
