2017 In Review
2017 was a huge year for my brand, Four on Four. For starters, I uploaded over 20 mixes that received over 3,700 plays, over 44,000 minutes of listening time, 137 favorites and 31 reposts. Incredible. Thank you to all my fans for always staying tuned. Many of these mixes also hit the Mixcloud Top 100 Big Room and EDM global charts. I'm happy to say that my fanbase nearly doubled this past year and with many of you listening, continuing to upvote, and provide comments, the support for my show has never been better! The beginning of 2017 was also great because I began rolling out full-hour dj sets as part of the show and I introduced the concept of exclusively themed mixes which included many of the best, but hardest to find, house and EDM electronic tracks. The retrospective wouldn't be complete if I didn't add Four on Four's expansion into other channels where today you can also find me at sites like Beatport and Soundcloud. Excellent.
Looking Ahead to 2018
2018 has already started with a lot of great work helping to kickoff the new year properly. I'm very happy to say that Four on Four is officially on Facebook! If you're reading this newsletter you've found the official Facebook page or you're on the official site. I've also rolled out Four on Four's official website (http://fouronfour.us/) which provides my fans with everything they've asked for - a place to listen to all my mixes indefinitely, tracklists to mixes, and the ability to download them as well. My entire music collection of over 3,500 high definition electronic tracks is also there on the site, available to search, listen and download. Four on Four also got an awesome and official logo this year! I'll be using it on all my mixed material so you know that it's legit. As a major improvement for 2018, last year's stats consistently showed that my fans prefer my house and EDM mixes over other deep house and future house genres that I've recorded many mixes with. The comments I received from all of you also indicated that you're really liking the harder beats and mixes with more energy. Based on that, this year I'll be recording many more house and EDM mixes that consistently carry great energy and spending less time focusing on deep house and future house genres. Lastly, look for new quarterly newsletters that are designed to keep you plugged into what's going on with Four on Four - mixes, dj events, special tracks, updates on the official site and much, much more.
