Tim Bergling (born 8 September 1989), known professionally as Avicii and Tim Berg, is a Swedish DJ, remixer, and record producer. His single "Bromance" (recorded under the pseudonym Tim Berg, has charted in the top 20 on the national single charts of Belgium, the Netherlands, and his native Sweden. A lyricized version titled "Seek Bromance" was released shortly thereafter, charting on the UK Singles Chart and reaching number one on the international Beatport chart. Other singles include "My Feelings for You," with Sebastien Drums, "Street Dancer," and "Tweet It," among others. Avicii is kind of like Dante's Inferno ... it's the lowest level of hell in Buddhism. A friend of mine told me about it, and it stuck in my head. I was going to make up a name for my MySpace page for the first time, and I just kind of went for it. I tried a couple of other before, but they were all taken (laughing). I kind of ended up with Avicii, and then I got really attached to it.
Tim Deluxe (1) 292 views 0 favorites Tim Deluxe (Tim Liken) went from being just another British DJ/producer to being a brand-name hitmaker as he released one smash single after another during the early 2000s, bringing much acclaim to Darren Emerson's Underwater Records in the process with big, big vocal-driven tracks like "It Just Won't Do" and "Less Talk, More Action." Deluxe began his road to fame as a club DJ, a pastime he initially pursued while working at a London-based record store during the '90s. He then began producing tracks as well, collaborating with Omar Amidora and Andy Lysandrou in the short-lived group Double 99. The group scored itself a huge hit in 1997 with "RIP Groove," an anthem that got spun everywhere from London to Ibiza and also got compiled on myriad compilations. Following this remarkable success, Deluxe ventured out on his own, producing tracks for Cross Section Records ("Moments," "I Know") before moving on to the better-known Underwater label, where he debuted with "Sirens," and then struck gold with "It Just Won't Do." A singalong vocal track highlighted by Sam Obernik and a Latin touch, it became one of the hottest tracks at 2002's Winter Music Conference and set the stage for his next big hit, "Less Talk, More Action!," a collaboration with Terra Deva that in turn became one of the hottest tracks at the following year's WMC. Moreover, Deluxe continued his DJing, for which he was likewise acclaimed, and also did a lot of remix work for big names like Basement Jaxx, Layo & Bushwacka!, Kylie Minogue, and even the White Stripes. All of this culminated in 2004 with Underwater's release of Deluxe's full-length debut, The Little Ginger Club Kid, which compiled many of his more popular singles as well as several new productions like "Mundaya (The Boy)."

TJR (1) 308 views 0 favorites TJ Rozdilsky was born 15 March 1983 in Danbury, Connecticut. Hesitating between a sporting career (golf) or music TJR decided to become a DJ in 2004 after he attended multiple acid house concerts. TJR has built a formidable catalogue of original tracks and remixes since exploding on the scene in 2008. He’s the consummate DJ’s DJ and its clear that the mixing skills he’s honed over his career have never been more relevant; spinning, rolling and scratching live, TJR is a sight to behold behind the decks, especially in an era of pre-programmed playlists. Known for his three Beatport overall #1’s with ‘Funky Vodka,’ ‘What’s Up Suckaz,’ and ‘Bounce Generation,’ his hit ‘Ode to Oi' and the certified Platinum smash, ‘Don’t Stop The Party’ with Pitbull; TJR has become the master of the dancefloor anthem. Moving to LA from Connecticut as a last ditch effort to avoid the corporate grind, he honed his skills behind the decks by constantly working at his craft. The hard work paid off and he found success in LA and San Diego, and from there the best parties and dancefloors of the world beckoned.

Todd Terry (1) 249 views 0 favorites Terry's productions extensively used samples blending the sounds of classic disco, the Chicago sound, and elements of hip-hop.
Terry began in the 1980s by DJing at parties in New York, playing Italian disco and hip hop, and later house music when it emerged in the middle of the decade. Much of Todd Terry's early work in the late 1980s is considered a milestone in the development of both progressive and modern deep house. Todd Terry has been responsible for releasing two of the most respected crossover remixes of the house era: "I'll House You" by the Jungle Brothers and "Missing" by Everything but the Girl by the mid 1990s.
Todd's tracks "Something Goin' On" and "Keep on Jumpin'" were both UK Top 10 hits, with the vocals on the latter provided by Jocelyn Brown and Martha Wash. Freestyle diva Shannon was the featured vocalist on the UK top 20 hit "It's Over Love" in 1997, which also topped the Billboard Dance/Club Play Songs Chart in the US, as did "Just Wanna Dance"/"Weekend". "All right, All right" also was featured on the British import Chicago House compilation Jackmaster Volume 1 in 1987.
In 1999, Todd Terry released Resolutions on Astralwerks Records, which successfully embraced the then still avant-garde drum 'n' bass aesthetic. He also mixes on the albums One Half of a Whole Decade and Live & Remastered.
Terry also used several aliases such as Hardhouse, Swan Lake, Orange Lemon, Royal House, and Black Riot. He has also recorded as CLS, Masters at Work (with Kenny "Dope" Gonzalez & "Little" Louie Vega), Dredd Stock, House of Gypsies, Limelife, Hard House, Tyme Forse, and the Gypsymen (where under that alias, scored a number-one Billboard Hot Dance/Club play hit in 1992 with "Hear the Music").
Terry co-produced the song "Shake" on P.M. Dawn's debut album, Of the Heart, of the Soul and of the Cross: The Utopian Experience. The song ended with the repeated lyric "Everyone thank Todd Terry". He also produced "The House of Isis" from Isis' 1990 album Rebel Soul.
In October 2004, "Weekend" by the Todd Terry Project appeared in the video game Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, playing on House Music radio station SF-UR.
