Alice in Chains (often abbreviated as AIC) is an American rock band from Seattle, Washington, formed in 1987 by guitarist and vocalist Jerry Cantrell and drummer Sean Kinney, who later recruited bassist Mike Starr and lead vocalist Layne Staley.Starr was replaced by Mike Inez in 1993. William DuVall joined the band in 2006 as co-lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist, replacing Staley, who died in 2002. The band took its name from Staley's previous group, the glam metal band Alice N' Chains.
Often associated with grunge music, Alice in Chains' sound incorporates heavy metal elements. The band is known for its distinctive vocal style, which often included the harmonized vocals between Staley and Cantrell (and later Cantrell and DuVall). Cantrell started to sing lead vocals on the 1992 acoustic EP Sap, and his role continued to grow in the following albums, making Alice in Chains a two-vocal band.
Alice in Chains rose to international fame as part of the grunge movement of the early 1990s, along with other Seattle bands such as Nirvana, Pearl Jam, and Soundgarden. They achieved success during the era with the albums Facelift (1990), Dirt (1992), Alice in Chains (1995), as well as the EP Jar of Flies (1994). Although never officially disbanding, Alice in Chains was plagued by extended inactivity from 1996 onward, due to Staley's substance abuse, which resulted in his death in 2002. The band toured in 2006, with DuVall taking over as lead vocalist full-time. The new line-up have released the albums Black Gives Way to Blue (2009), The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here (2013), and Rainier Fog (2018).
Alice in Chains have sold over 30 million records worldwide, and over 14 million records in the US alone. The band has had 18 Top 10 songs on Billboard's Mainstream Rock Tracks chart, 5 No. 1 hits, and received 11 Grammy Award nominations. The band was ranked number 34 on VH1's 100 Greatest Artists of Hard Rock and was ranked as the 15th greatest live band by Hit Parader. Since its formation, Alice in Chains has released six studio albums, three EPs, three live albums, four compilations, two DVDs, 43 music videos, and 32 singles.

Alice DeeJay was a Dutch eurodance group from Amsterdam formed in 1999. The group was founded by Dutch Company Violent Music. They are best known for their 1999 single, "Better Off Alone", which was a worldwide success. They disbanded in 2002.
The group consisted of successful record producers Danski (Born Dennis van den Driesschen), Delmundo (a.k.a. Wessel van Diepen, their protégés Pronti (Sebastiaan Molijn), Kalmani (Eelke Kalberg), DJ Jurgen and face and lead singer Judith Anna Pronk. They also had background dancers: Mila Levesque and Angelique Versnel. Versnel began her education as a dancer at the School of Performing Arts in Los Angeles, United States. After completing four years at the dance academy (as well as high school study) at Alvin Aley in New York, she became a part of Alice Deejay.
Alice DeeJay launched their career in July 1999 with the single, "Better Off Alone", credited to DJ Jurgen presents Alice DeeJay. In the UK, the song went platinum and reached number 2 on the UK Singles Chart, and number 3 on the US Billboard Hot Dance Music/Club Play, also reaching number 27 on the US Billboard Hot 100. Alice Deejay achieved success with the follow-up single "Back In My Life" in November of the same year. The group's first and only album was Who Needs Guitars Anyway?, which was released on April 11, 2000. It entered the Top Ten of the UK Albums Chart.
Alice DeeJay made the UK Top 20 with three more tracks: "Will I Ever", "The Lonely One" and "Celebrate Our Love", although each single's chart position was lower than its predecessors.

Alice Cooper was an American rock band formed in Phoenix, Arizona in 1964. The band consisted of lead singer Vince Furnier, Glen Buxton (lead guitar), Michael Bruce (rhythm guitar, keyboards), Dennis Dunaway (bass guitar), and Neal Smith (drums). Furnier legally changed his name to Alice Cooper and has had a solo career under that name since the band became inactive in 1975. The band was notorious for their elaborate, theatrical shock rock stage shows. In 2011, the original Alice Cooper band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
After several years of little success, the Alice Cooper band rose to fame in 1971 with the success of the single "I'm Eighteen" and the album Love It to Death. The band peaked in popularity in 1973 with the album Billion Dollar Babies and its tour, which broke box-office records previously held by The Rolling Stones.
The band consisted of former members from the previous 60s garage rock band, the Spiders. They created everything as a group and wrote virtually the lion's share of what was to become the classic Alice Cooper canon. Neal Smith's sister Cindy Smith Dunaway (Dennis Dunaway's wife) designed the band's costumes and also performed in the stage show (she was the "dancing tooth" during the band's Billion Dollar Babies tour).
The Alice Cooper band was the subject of media criticism after Furnier (Alice Cooper) threw a live chicken into the audience during the 1969 Toronto Rock 'n' Roll Revival Festival. The audience ripped the chicken to shreds.
The band was featured on a Warner Bros sampler album Zapped of bands produced by Frank Zappa for the label, and then went on to release several chart-topping albums and headlining major tours before breaking up in 1975. Vincent Furnier took "Alice Cooper" as his own name and carried on with a new group of musicians, the original band becoming officially defunct. The band played their final show on April 8, 1974 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Bruce, Dunaway and Smith would go on to form the short-lived band Billion Dollar Babies, producing one album - Battle Axe - in 1977. While occasionally performing with one another and Glen Buxton, they would not reunite with Alice until October 23, 1999, at the second Glen Buxton Memorial Weekend for a show at CoopersTown in Phoenix (Buxton having died in 1997). They reunited for another show, with Steve Hunter on guitar, on December 16, 2010, at the Dodge Theatre in Phoenix. This lineup would perform together again (televised) on March 14, 2011, at the induction of the original Alice Cooper group into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, as well as on May 11, 2011, at London's Battersea Power Station at the Jagermiester Ice Cold 4D event (webcast). Bruce, Dunaway and Smith appeared on three tracks they co-wrote on Alice's 2011 album Welcome 2 My Nightmare.
A documentary about the Alice Cooper band entitled Super Duper Alice Cooper premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival on April 17, 2014, and was scheduled to be screened at the Hot Docs Canadian International Documentary Festival a week later.
On October 6, 2015, a surprise reunion show took place in Dallas at Dunaway's book signing session where he was joined by Bruce, Smith, Cooper and Ryan Roxie, who replaced the late Glen Buxton. The surviving members of the band are set to record and release an album with Cooper in 2016.

Alexandra Ioanna Stan (sometimes stylized as Alexandra Staи) (born 10 June 1989) is a Romanian singer. She released her début single, "Lollipop (Param Pam Pam)", in late 2009. The song impacted United States mainstream radios in early 2010, peaking at number-eighteen. Her sophomore release, "Mr. Saxobeat", became her worldwide breakthrough hit, selling almost 1,000,000 copies in less than a year and reaching the top five in over twenty countries such as New Zealand and the United Kingdom and the top thirty in Australia, Canada and United States. She released her debut album in August 2011, titled Saxobeats. The album spawned two more singles: "Get Back (ASAP)" and "1.000.000" the latter with rapper Carlprit. On 4 June 2012, she released a new single, Lemonade, which has over 44 million views, as of 24 February 2013. Alexandra Stan was born in Romania. She studied at the Traian Highschool in Romania. As of 2011, she is enrolled in her second year as a student at the University of Management Andrei Saguna. In the past, she took part in various music-related contests with a notable appearance at the Mamaia Festival vocal performance-section. She took one year of singing lessons. During an interview, she stated that she believes in God and she has her own religious principles.

Alex Dolby was born in the rich land of Ciociaria some years ago He got involved in music production after having attended several clubs nights around Italy. His influences have to be searched in djs as Lory-D, Speedy-j and Leo Anibaldi but also in the italian house protagonists as Ralf, Flavio Vecchi and Ricky Montanari. As soon as he got his own studio he started producing tracks which were the fusion of electronic and house music. He worked hard and he reached his own style, the same characteristic music flavour that nowadays calls so much attention on him. It couldnt be not so natural the meeting with one of the craziest italian producer and in addition fellow countryman Santos. The guys met and the project Alex Dolby came to life. The first record signed Alex Dolby was Psiko Garden included in the From Ciociaria With Dub ep along with UNDO/REDO Driver Pink single on Mantra Vibes. This track caught the attention of several djs in the Uk and it got well received in clubs. With stron gsupport from people as Fluke DJs or Pete Tong who played Psiko Garden in his essential mix show on BBC RADIO 1. Second release was Hazy Way/Visionary Lake, long awaited worldwide which gained a lot of exposure and good reactions. Positive opinions came also about the remixes of Psyko Garden signed by legend John Acquaviva and Ashtrax. Then for his debut on Mantra Smiles Alex Dolby deliverred Untitled Valley, simply high quality progressive psiko funk. After that single which went sold out the name Alex Dolby got again on the verge with Hazy Way remixed by breakbeat master producers Evil 9. The record was among the best remixes of the year 2004 nominated as Best Remix Of The Year at the 05 Breakspoll Award and in Pete Tongs playlist for five weeks in a row and declared also Essential Tune Of The Week in november. Still nowadays this remix is among the most wanted ones. However Alex scored again the top of the club charts with his remix of INFUSION Girls Can Be Cruel which arrived again on the top of the UK Buzz Chart. Next step was Obsessive Sound immediately in Satoshi Tomiie playlistnow remixed by electro duo Niki B & Christian E.F.F.E. and italo wonder Ajello... and the brandnew "Instrumental Pleasure E.P.' about to be dropped on Mantra Vibes. Alex Dolby is also out on http://www.djdownload.com with a special mix compilation Psikoplayground.

Alessandro Lindblad (born July 7, 1991), commonly known by his stage name Alesso, is a Swedish DJ and electronic dance music producer.
Specializing in progressive house, Alesso achieved worldwide attention and popularity in 2011 with wide support of his original productions and remixes from the likes of Avicii, Swedish House Mafia, Tiësto, Sander van Doorn, Kaskade and other well established DJs. His remix of "Pressure" was one of the most played EDM songs of 2011. He made his debut on DJ Mag's Top 100 DJ list in 2011, garnering the 70th spot. Being one of 2011's hottest artists was enough for MTV to name him an EDM artist to watch in 2012. On March 24, 2012, Alesso debuted his first BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix.
